Kaboni Kabini – Chairperson

Ms. Kaboni Kabini holds Bsc Environmental Science from the University of Limpopo (Turfloop Campus), and Continuing with her PGDE in Education through UNISA. While serving her experiential learning in a science centre that is based in Piet Retief in Mpumalanga, she was nominated to be an Ambassador of Education.

Upon completion of his studies, she immediately re-joined the organisation voluntarily were more often was assisting in the educational aspects, she is also the former office manager of the project. 2015 she was nominated to become the Acting Chairperson of the Committee at Siyatjheja, were she lead the organisation with passion and formally was nominated to be the Chairperson on the AGM that was held 10th August 2015. She led the forces in bringing the transformation through their serving timeframe.

Ms Kabini in her portfolio part of the duties are to preside Executive Committee and general meetings, exercise supervision over general affairs of the organisation, enforce observance of the rules and regulation of the constitutions, authorise all official documents of the organisations and be one of the co-signatory on the banking accounting of Siyatjheja Social project.

Her term of office shall be review on the Annual General Meeting to be held.


 

Busisiwe Shabangu – Deputy Chairperson

Busisiwe Shabangu obtained a Certificate in Financial Management level4 from CN Mahlangu Technical Campus during the year 2014; she also participated in many of the community events that happened under (Ward9) Kameelrivier B i.e. Sport against Crime and Substance She join the Siyatjheja Committee during the year 2017 June, and she hold the portfolio of Deputy Chairperson were part of her tasks includes Acting on behalf of the Chairperson in her absences

Thulani Mathibela – Executive Secretary

Thulani Mathibela graduated with a Diploma in Marketing Management from the Private College called Vine College during 2010. He is continuing with his career at UNISA doing BA Degree in Communication Science in distance learning, also previously attended skills training of Financial Literacy conducted by ABC Insurance, Peer Counselling Training and others. He started his career as a volunteer during 2009.

In April 2010 he was admitted as a Marketing Officer at Siyatjheja Social Project after his graduation, his duties includes Leading the Marketing division team, Liaise with Marketing & organization team, Coordinate projects annual programs, Assist on Administrative duties, Co-ordinate publicity & promotion, Organizing other relevant resources.

In August 2015 he was nominated to be part of the Executive Committee of Siyatjheja Social Project as a Secretary, part of his duties relate Handle all correspondence of the organization, Take minutes of the meeting at all times, Act as one of co-signatory on the accounts of the project

T.T Mthimunye – Deputy Secretary

Telma Thembi Mthimunye is a mother of one child, she was born in the place of Kameelrivier B, Ward 09. A lady who play part in many organisational development in the community.

She started her primary education in Sizani Primary School under in Dr JS Moroka Municipality, for her high school education at Fundukhuphuke Middle School and completed her matric at Hlanganani High School.

She started being involved in development early after she matriculated. She loves education/teaching/sporting activities. She joined the Siyatjheja Committee officially during the year 2017 June, and holds the portfolio of being a deputy secretary.  Part of her duties relate to handling all correspondence of the organization, take minutes of the meeting at all times, and acting as a secretary in his absentia.

Emily Martha Maphosa – Treasurer

Emily Martha Maphosa joined Siyatjheja Social Project on January 2009 as a Volunteer in Administration She holds a National Certificate in Call Canter Management, Certificate in Peer Counselling, and Certificate in Computer Literacy from different training institutions.

She is responsible for managing all the Siyatjheja Social Project Finances, Prepare and present financial reports i.e. income statement and expenditure reports, Balance sheet and cash flow statement of the organisation, she supervise all financial affairs of the organisation, and also She Act as one of co-signatory on the accounts of the project.

Prior Ms Maphosa was part of the different campaigns done by the project since she joined as a member, Organising of school re-unions, Health awareness campaign, Sports against Crime and others with a vision of tackling social ill that affect the community especially youth in the surrounding areas of Kameelrivier (Ga-Morwe)

William Mbonani – PR Officer

William Mbonani is a loyal member of the Siyatjheja Social Project, he is part of the team that co-founded the organisation during 2007. He went several trainings of which includes Peer counselling, Project Management ect.

He is currently heading the PR Officer portfolio. His tasks include promoting the image of the organisation, coordinate matters and liaise with external parties in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the organisation.

William Mbonani is one of the best volunteer in conducting local events, and campaign such on various fields. Mr Mbonani currently sits on the committee of the Ward 9Councillor as a member and is also the representative of the organisations under the Ward 9War Room that its office is based in the Siyatjheja Social Project Premises leads by the Cllr Mr Mphuti as a Chairperson

Bongani Ndlovu – Coordinator

He started her primary education in Sizani Primary School, until ending his high school education at Tholulwazi Secondary School currently called (MST Academy) during 2004, he furthered his tertiary education with CN Mahlangu Technical Campus and obtain Certificate in Electrical Engineering level 4, he also did Certificate in Computer literacy training and also is one of the guy who has a vision in seeing the development in his area.

He started being involved in youth development early while still studying at CN Mahlangu, and become fully active in youth activities after completing his studies.

He join the Siyatjheja Committee officially during the year 2017 June, and he hold the portfolio of being a Coordinator were part of her tasks includes monitoring and report the progress of the sub-committees, act as an advisor to the sub-committees were necessary
